shows the expansion of Western Imperialism, French and Great Britain, dominated
to mainland Southeast Asia between 1864 and 1909.
French
Imperialism spread the power to cover territories on East Side of Siam (Thailand’s
old name). The process started from Cochinchina in Southern in 1864 and
expanded her influence to Northern incessantly, which finally she composed of
the lands of Vietnam (Annam), Laos, and Cambodia. These were the French
colonials that were called French – Indochina.
For Great
Britain Imperialism expanded her space power on West side and South side of
Siam. The domination of Great Britain that dilated her force to mainland
Southeast Asia was continuously from her territories in India until she had
colonized Burma in 1885 and Shan states in 1893. While, some part of Malaya
(Penang and Kalantan) were been a part of Great Britain Imperialism in 1909.
However,
Siam was only land that had prevented sovereignty from Western Imperialism,
although Siam must change herself to western civilization that saved from the
Imperialism threat.

While, some ( part ) ^ parts of Malaya (Penang and Kalantan) (were been ) ^ had been a part of Great Britain Imperialism in 1909.
However, Siam was ^ the only (Land) ^ country that had prevented sovereignty from (Western Imperialism )^ western imperialist overthrow (, although Siam must change herself to western civilization that saved from the Imperialism) ^; although the country had to change itself significantly, adopting western laws of civility, ^ the threat of imperialism was averted.
