Blog1: Write
two one-paragraph descriptions of your field of study (e.g., anthropology,
textual analysis, etc.), one for graduate students in an unrelated field
and one for fellow graduate students in your program. Try to
use the language foci from above to differentiate the two
versions.
A. Linguistics is one of sciences studies nature and structure of
language. The nature of language is a daily-used language that people use for
communication among them. Structure of language is also a language used by
people in same community. But it is used in specific purpose.
B. Linguistics is a multi-task science; studies a number of aspects
in one, and/or various types of languages; such as phonology, syntax,
semantics, etc. In other words, a language has various themes for academic discussion.
For example: studying the sound in a language could not completely success
unless we use natural science, physics; while biology is absolutely required
for studying the various types of body parts produce the sound of any letters
or words. Moreover, words, expressions and/or sentences used in the fields of
Math, logic, etc., are somewhat unusual.
